Is Obama an amiable dunce?

Incompetence

It has been one year since The One became our president. Most polls today put his approval rating right about at his margin of victory of a year ago.

From CNN.

Fifty-four percent of people questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Tuesday approve of how Obama is handling his duties as president, with 45 percent saying they disapprove.

“Obama’s approval rating of 54 percent is nearly identical to the 53 percent of the vote he won a year ago,”

But when people are asked about his policies, rather than his personality, well, even CNN can’t spin these numbers.

The survey suggests that the president’s approval rating remains over 50 percent even though most Americans disapprove of how Obama is handling the economy, health care, Afghanistan, Iraq, unemployment, illegal immigration and the federal budget deficit.

Not to put to fine a point on it, but aren’t those issues the exact things he was hired to handle?

Rasmussen shows that, for the first time in years, voters now trust Republicans over Democrats on the top 10 major issues.

Rasmussen chart 10 issues October 2009

How else to explain the difference between a positive personal score and an across-the-board disapproval of his policies?

What do you call a president whom Americans think is a really nice guy but clueless on how to run the country? You could call him an empty suit, all hat and no cattle, an international celebrity, or perhaps even an amiable dunce.

My mama taught me it’s not nice to call people names… but who listens to their mama right? If i were going to label Obama with an epithet, i might pick ‘Two-Faced Jr Level Employee of Goldman Sachs’, or ‘Multi-Cultural Figurehead Fooling the American Public into Thinking they are getting Hope & Change they can Believe In’, but amiable dunce? Puh-leeaze?!

Only a milquetoast idiot douche nozzle who never gets tired of that diversionary red vs blue game (policy! policy!) could come up with such a lame name to call someone.

Oh, Lord, give us a break, Bill. Obama has inherited a nightmare from, if we must call names (er, didn’t you recently decry name-calling concerning Lieberman?), someone who history will remember as a bad ruler of Biblical proportion, George Bush, a dunce of Shakespearian scope. He gave us a useless war in Iraq that he couldn’t win in 6 years of effort, a massive growth in the deficit, an 8-year delay in dealing with global warming, allowed health care costs to skyrocket, a ruined economy, 12 million illegal aliens (yes, that was mostly Bush’s doing, Bill). Give him a couple more years and he’d have given us a plague of locusts, I would guess.
You are lacking in intellectual integrity if you promulgate the idea that any of this deep shit is Obama’s doing, or that Obama could wave a magic wand and make it all go away in a single year of service.
    Get a mop, Bill.

    Bill,

Just like that poll you got wrong the other day and wouldn’t correct (still waiting…http://bit.ly/2lQWaX), this post too is factually inaccurate. Obama was elected a year ago. He has only been our President since late January.

Furthermore, all you give is your opinion to back up the idea that he’s incompetent? When he was handed this crazy mess?

Last, but certainly not least, “The One?” Really?

Cut out the partisan nonsense out and just stick to the facts. You’re giving conservatives a bad name here.

When you can prove to me that a majority of Americans can coherently describe even one of Obama’s policy initiatives, I’ll consider wasting my time debunking your “facts”.

Until then, I’ll just call you a misleading, partisan jackass who isn’t particularly interested in analysis and who doesn’t actually know how to read statistics – much less interpret them.

Hey, I bet Kristol needs an understudy!

Why people say that Obama is a dunce ? So the chosen get more money ! Why Madoff, been the Chairman of the NYSE with a salary big enough to pay 10 lives without working, stole money from the USA’s middle class ? So the chosen get more money ! Why is Benji at the FED busily debasing the ‘greenback’ printing money ? So the chosen get more money ! Why the Israelis are squatting illegally in Jerusalem ? So the chosen get more money ! Why do we have troops in Afghanistan to impose a cheat if the Afghans does not want ‘democracy’ ? So the chosen get more money ! Why do we have a climate debacle ? So the chosen get more money ! Why do we have miniature pseudo countries sprinkled around the world acting as financial heavens ? So the chosen get more money ! why we did have a French Revolution ? So the chosen get more money ! Why Marx, Lenin, Trotsky, Stalin and Churchill Et Al made the Soviet revolution ? So the chosen get more money ! Why are we rescuing financial thieves ? So the chosen get more money ! Then I’ll ask you: why do we have the mass media that we have …

Now, let see if we learned something …

Why did they endorsed such a tap dancing clown, responsible for most of the biggest crimes of the twenty first century as President by the name of Georgie Bush Jr. ? So the chosen get more money !
