That was a very, very brief moment. I'm not sure if Thompson's black hole of charisma and ideas is what Hoffman needs to win. Having said that, I always support a primary challenge to shake things up and scare the money men. The media acts as if the sky is falling when either Rs or Ds has to face one, but I think it makes for a healthier party.
