‘Bayonetta’ trailer is speed in game form

Yes, I’m talking about speed, the drug, not speed, the physics concept of how far you can go in a certain amount of time, although both definitions certainly apply here.
The footage is probably the most high intensity action I’ve ever seen in a game that wasn’t a direct port of something out of Tokyo. I have a hard time believing American audiences can wind their brains up enough to process this, but they’re certainly going to try.
The action is very Devil May Cry, as it should be as the games share creators, but as stylish and furious as DMC was, it clearly has nothing on Bayonetta. I’m looking forward to seeing more at E3.
