What is the Mysterious Kojima Countdown?

It’s the latest video game viral hype that’s aggravating everyone to no end. What exactly is the countdown counting down to on Hideo Kojima’s website? The page now consists of animated clouds scrolling along with flashes of thunder and lightning accompanying the clock. When lightning flashes, we see a brief image of what appears to be an “S’ or a “5″ onscreen.
Now, the obvious thought here is Metal Gear Solid 5, but that seems way too easy. The “S” could also stand for “Solid” or “Snake” but that’s not exactly a step in a different direction.
What do you think it is? The countdown timer is set to go off May 21st, so maybe Kojima is just really excited about the release of Terminator Salvation?
As long as it’s not an expansion to Metal Gear iPhone, I’ll be satisfied.

[...] What is the Mysterious Hideo Kojima Countdown? [True/Slant] [...]
I think that its at least clear that Kojima is doing an FPS. He met with Guerilla and Infinity Ward last year (perhaps early this year) to discuss something, though no one knows what. I am also convinced that it is a new ip, as Kojima has said that he isnt yet looking to make a new Zone of Ender, which I think is, of all his past games, the most likely one to be updates. And, he has been worried, as his interviews attest, about the decline the Japanese gaming industry, saying more than once that western games have surpassed Japanese games in almost every way. So, I dont think that we can safely speculate about a title at this point, though we can be at least somewhat confident about some other characteristics of the game.
I really hope you’re right. A Kojima FPS would undoubtedly be phenomenal.
