Free WiFi at airports takes off
More and more, I don’t have to rely on my Boingo account ($9.95 a month) to access the Internet at airports.
That’s because free WiFi is becoming the norm.
In 2010, my home airport of SeaTac began offering free WiFi, along with many other spots in the Pacific Northwest.
Fortunately, the list keeps growing, as reported in this USA Today article.
Now, if only hotels would figure out that free WiFi is just as important as a free morning newspaper — if not moreso.

Sue,
Like you I am also glad to see more and more airports are making their WiFi service free.
As a seasoned traveler myself, I would like to share 2 websites that I find useful when it come to finding WiFi service at airports across the country and the world: http://www.AirportWiFiGuide.com and http://www.LoungeGuide.net. I use these 2 websites consistantly to plan my connections and layover since I often want to stay connected to my office when I travel.
Thanks for the article.
