The sixth season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin is set for Jan. 20-23, 2010 in the German capital. As one of the most popular catwalk shows in Germany, the designers include ALLUDE, Anja Gockel, Arrondissement Aq1, CUSTO Barcelona, Kilian Kerner, Mongrels in Common, No Ifs, Sam Frenzel, SCHUMACHER and Strenesse Blue. BOSS Black and Joop! will show offsite.

This isn’t your typical fashion week. Fashion Week Berlin is experimental and creative. The connection between fashion and technology is at the forefront, and yes there’s a car involved.

The new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG sports car will be staged “in a spectacular way” according to Mercedes-Benz. The event takes place at Bebelplatz, in the historic heart of Berlin.

    About Me

I'm a professional freelance writer and photographer who has been in the journalism 'biz since 1988. I live on a small farm on an island in Puget Sound with my husband, chickens, turkeys and our very own field of dreams. When I'm not packing and unpacking from exploring the seven continents (yup, I've done 'em all), I enjoy theater, movies, jazz, fine food, heavenly spas and long dinner parties with my family and friends. Oh, I grew up in the '60s and I sort of remember it through the haze.
