Hang out with the Obamas in Hawaii (or at least where they do while vacationing on Oahu)

The press is having a heyday with the Obama family spending Christmas vacation on Oahu.
He’s the first president in 20+ years to not spend Christmas in the White House.
And you can be assured that the tourism folks in the islands are grinning from ear to ear. With the number of visitors on the decline in Hawaii the past few years, they’re hoping that visions of surf and sand will make folks want to ditch their winter and head for summer.
Barack Obama’s Hawaii is a link on the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau that highlights all things Obama. The microsite includes the history of Barack Obama’s family in Hawaii, along with food and activities with Obama tie-ins (think shaved ice and golfing).
The Obama Tour Hawaii is a $40 tour that traces the footsteps of “the local boy who became President.” It includes transportation from Waikiki hotels.
