It’s always tough when you’re on the road and a major holiday hits. Oh sure, you can just ignore it. But the one holiday meal that I would really miss is Thanksgiving dinner.

It’s such an American tradition that when you are abroad, you tend to get a little homesick on the last Thursday in November.

London based writer Linda McCormick of Suite101.com has put together a thoughtful list of where to dine for Thanksgiving in London, Paris and Rome. Her choices wisely include both luxury and budget options.

Bon appetit!

About Me

I'm a professional freelance writer and photographer who has been in the journalism 'biz since 1988. I live on a small farm on an island in Puget Sound with my husband, chickens, turkeys and our very own field of dreams. When I'm not packing and unpacking from exploring the seven continents (yup, I've done 'em all), I enjoy theater, movies, jazz, fine food, heavenly spas and long dinner parties with my family and friends. Oh, I grew up in the '60s and I sort of remember it through the haze.
