Tim Hortons makes a move into Fort Knox

I spend a lot of time in Canada, so have gotten to know Tim Hortons quite well. If you’re not familiar with Tim Hortons, it’s a coffee/food chain founded in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario.

In the beginning, it was just about coffee and donuts (yum, Apple Fritters and Dutchies), but now it’s much more. My favorite is the Timbit, a bite-sized donut hole, available in 35 varieties.

In fact, Tims now has a US presence, merging with Wendy’s in 1995 and popping up all over the states. They’re even in New York City. Their most recent franchise opened at Fort Knox.

There’s gold in them thar doughnuts!
