They’re calling it the Ultimate Convention at Sea for Twilight Fans. And it’s a theme cruise that’s all Twilight, all the time. The company that’s packaged the cruise is CCC, Ltd. of California. It’s a family run business and produced Fab Four, Star Trek and Barbie cruises. Obviously, they’re Twilight fans.

The cruise aboard Holland America’s M/S Oosterdam is August 8-15, 2010 and departs from Seattle. Ports of call include Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan and Victoria, BC. On board will be Twilight cast members Ashley Green, Alex Meraz and Michael Welch. Activities include:

* Q & A with actors and other guests
* Group photo
* Autograph session
* Costume ball
* Movie viewings
* Trivia contests & games
* Prizes
* Charity auction
* Welcome aboard party
* Vendor room

Prices for the cruise start at $1,049 per person. There’s also a pre-cruise to Forks, Washington that includes three nights in a Seattle hotel; day tour of Forks; half-day sightseeing in Seattle; all transportation between the hotel/airport/ship. Prices range from $349 per person (quad room) to $749 for a single.

    About Me

    I'm a professional freelance writer and photographer who has been in the journalism 'biz since 1988. I live on a small farm on an island in Puget Sound with my husband, chickens, turkeys and our very own field of dreams. When I'm not packing and unpacking from exploring the seven continents (yup, I've done 'em all), I enjoy theater, movies, jazz, fine food, heavenly spas and long dinner parties with my family and friends. Oh, I grew up in the '60s and I sort of remember it through the haze.
