Baltimore featured in Mad Men opener

mad-men

I’ve only been to Baltimore once, and that was to go to an Orioles’ game at Camden Yards and enjoy some seafood on the waterfront. But Mad Men fans take note: Don Draper (Jon Hamm) and Salvatore Romano (Bryan Batt), are headed to Baltimore in the Season 3 opener on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009. Off to spend time with their London Fog clients, they’ll spend the night at the Belevedere Hotel (now condos) and dine at Haussner’s (now closed). Read more about it in my post at Examiner.com.

About Me

I'm a professional freelance writer and photographer who has been in the journalism 'biz since 1988. I live on a small farm on an island in Puget Sound with my husband, chickens, turkeys and our very own field of dreams. When I'm not packing and unpacking from exploring the seven continents (yup, I've done 'em all), I enjoy theater, movies, jazz, fine food, heavenly spas and long dinner parties with my family and friends. Oh, I grew up in the '60s and I sort of remember it through the haze.
