Neuro News Nanos
Here are this morning’s:
* Why people in New York City won’t share a cab — people want instant gratification; they want everything immediately — what happens when there’s an argument, or someone is talking on a phone?
* Do hand sanitizers work? — not so much — but the feeling that you’re “doing something” may be worth a couple dollars (except for how I just burst your delusion bubble with this post… you’re welcome)
* Artificial modification of the human skull — present on every inhabited continent and at various periods in human history and prehistory — it even appears in the archaeological record of Neanderthals
* Can some negativity improve your relationship? — yes — expressing negative emotion is associated with positive relationship outcomes
* The future of neurocognitive warfare — a certain form of stimulation embeddable in a popular game or internet service (porn?) might reduce cognitive performance by only a fraction — but when considered over a whole army, it could make a difference to the overall fighting force
