Here are this morning’s:
* More on the retracted vaccines-cause-autism paper — more on… hmmm… — oh, yes, morons! the ones who will still insist vaccines cause autism
* Men prefer less powerful women — how high or low an image of a man or woman appears on a screen plays a part in how attractive they are perceived to be by the opposite sex — when men rate the attractiveness of women in pictures, if one image is higher up than another, they will find the lower image more attractive
* Couples can overdo being supportive — both partners are happier if husbands receive the right type of support, and if wives ask for support when they need it — if you don’t get enough support, you can make up for that with family and friends … when you receive too much support, there’s no way to adjust for that
* Abstinence-only sex ed is crap — but contraceptive sex-ed isn’t worlds better — we’ve assumed that sexual choices are rational choices, influenced by classroom exhortations and dry information
* Lusting while loathing — participants who failed to win a prize were willing to pay more for it than those who won it — but were also more likely to trade it away when they ultimately obtained it

“Morons.” Right, right. Can you explain why the autism rate is so low among the Amish then?
