Here are this morning’s:
* The universe in our own back yard — body type preferences not the same across cultures — evolutionary assumptions based on Western samples
* More on medical marijuana — further evidence that marijuana-based drugs can treat some kinds of pain — although maybe not all of them
* It’s math all the way down — mathematical abstractions are real like a mountain — they’re just there
* The domestication of human beings — if we’re following the bonobo or dog pattern, we’re moving toward a form of ourselves with more and more juvenile behavior — tooth size is falling, jaw size is falling, brain size is falling
* A cheap attempt to justify running a picture of Megan Fox on a neuroscience blog — something about personalities, I didn’t really pay attention — I would never do something so cheap (and neither would the New York Times Magazine)
