Comment of the Day
I used to work at CNBC – not in business but in a news capacity – and I always marveled at how smart all the anchors seemed when they came on our news show. They surely must have made millions in the stock market, I thought. (past tense as CNBC made all talent sign promises to divest themselves)
Then one day in the parking lot I saw one of the main morning anchors (who shall remain nameless) outside smoking while sitting in his rusty looking truck. It dawned on me, while smart sounding,… no one has an extra market ability – not even the guy in the morning who seemed to be holding all the secrets.
