Now, fanatics with ties to the Minutemen have killed an Hispanic man and his 9-year-old daughter in Arizona, 10 miles from the Mexican border.
Part of a possible surge in right-wing violence? Or just another isolated incident?

You might want to include the fact that they were after money and drugs to steal, Ryan. While they may have been right-wing racists jerks(I think all minute-men must be by default) hating Mexicans does not appear to be the motive in this case.
It can be hard to pin down the goals of nutcases, but it seems from the article they wanted to rob and kill suspected drug dealers (and their wives and 9-year-old daughters) to fund an anti-Mexican terrorist organization. I’d still say race was front-and-center here.
