Ryan,

*House made me give up my kidney
I've read the Newsweek article on Oprah and the bad advice she has passed along and she is a real person. I've also seen every show that her guests were on when they gave their views. Jenny McCarthy and Suzanne Somers were particularly dangerous. It's hard to believe that people could be effected by fictional characters on a TV show.

*Time moves too slowly for hyperactive boys
Why is Larry King on for four hours when it is only listed for an hour?

*The neuroscience of forgiveness
My own experience is that it is better to forgive if at all possible.

*How language shapes our perceptions
It's hard to see how it is better. It's late...I'll take their word for it.

*"My dog had the guiltiest look on its face"
I have a cat. They don't even bother to acknowledge any attempt at projection. Nor, do they feel the things that dogs are often accused of. This story tells me that dogs and cats are actually much more similar than dog owners would like to believe. So, dog owners may just be more self-centered or conditioned to believe what is not true.
