Comment of the Day
As a parent, I’m scared witless every time I visit the pediatrician for vaccine days. Sure, the vaccines are engineered to be helpful, but I try to stagger them as much as possible just because injecting a plethora of chemicals and viruses and whatnot all at once just can’t be good for my little guys.
Not knowing what kind or how many adjuvants are in vaccines and multi-combo vaccines make me uneasy as well. Injecting something not known that has a sole purpose of activating an antigen into my child is not an easy experience, even when there are articles out there glibly stating that vaccines are super safe and I’m a schmuck for even considering otherwise.
It’s very easy for childless people to say all infants must be blanketed with required shots and it’s no big deal, but it’s quite another to have your little boy filled up with man-made serums and to know that science, while usually deemed wise, has in the past been known to make mistakes. We’re not infallible creatures, so I find it best to err on the side of caution. As with most things in life, I find moderation- in this case a staggered “unconventional” vaccination schedule- to be a safer path.
