Hmmmm…. Grilled Cheese
The other night, it was time to play my favorite kitchen game: forage the fridge for dinner. I was feeling very lazy, but wanted something that would go under the heading of “comfort food.” I had a hankering for grilled cheese. Luckily, I just bought cheese at the Balducci closing sale. So, I combined Rembrandt gouda with English Farmhouse cheddar, added green apple and a dash of truffle salt. The bread came out a bit too crispy, but it was good.
Then I came across Artinsanal’s grilled cheese contest, courtesy of The Feedbag. I would have been knocked out in the first round. Worth sharing… so, here are a dozen interesting and almost winning grilled cheese recipes.
