Tammy Bruce – The New Face Of Hatred

Sometimes, a picture really does say it all. This is the promotional photo Tammy Bruce uses on her website promoting her various enterprises. A handgun and a microphone. Perfect. Kind of like an old recruiting poster for the Klan, minus the white sheets. 

Some of you may yet to have been properly introduced to Tammy Bruce.

This is the woman who was kicked off the air of a popular, conservative talk format, LA radio station after she ripped into Camille Cosby, the wife of comedian Bill Cosby. The subject of Bruce’s ire was an essay Mrs. Cosby published shortly after the tragic murder of her son, Ennis. Here is a description of Bruce’s last broadcast on KFI radio (she was immediately canned) provided by Blackvoices.com:

“I have two words for you this evening,” (Tammy Bruce) warned listeners. “Camille Cosby.” The Tammy, as fans affectionately call her, then went ballistic. In two hours of fire and brimstone, she ripped apart the essay line by line, not only questioning Camille’s sanity but wondering aloud about her super-rich and powerful husband’s sexual mores, referring to him as a “philandering, impregnating friend of O.J. Simpson.” While acknowledging that she had no proof, she suggested that the revered Cosby, a friend of Simpson lawyer Johnnie Cochran, mayhave secretly helped to fund the ex-football star’s murder defense. But most of her ire was aimed at Camille’s assertion that the 27-year-old Ennis had been shot to death while changing a tire late at night near a lonely stretch of Mulholland Drive because he was black. Bruce posited that he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time-while driving his mother’s $130,000 Mercedes-Benz. She then implied that the parents themselves shared the blame. “I say to Mrs. Cosby first of all, if she’s not in therapy she needs to get some immediately. And how dare she!” fumed The Tammy. 

This is  the same woman who was once president of the Los Angeles branch of the National Organization of Women until that organization censured her for  ”racially insensitive remarks” made during the O.J. Simpson trial- and there were quite a few.

And now, this is the woman who, while appearing as guest host of Laura Ingram’s radio show, called the American First Lady…trash.   Listen…

With one extraordinarily disrespectful and tasteless radio blurb, Ms. Bruce has gained the upper hand in the battle to take over the mantle of vile from the previous queen of venom, Anne Coulter, now that Coulter appears to have reached her expiration date.  Ms. Ingram might want to think twice before turning over her microphone to Ms. Bruce in the future as Ingram is also in the running to rise to the Coulter  crown.

While Coulter never hesitated to go after Michelle Obama for being a “poor man’s Jacqueline Kennedy”, even Skelator herself  didn’t have the cajones to call the First Lady trash.

Whomever becomes the ultimate winner in the quest for the big book bonanzas that come to those willing to spew bile before any camera that will shoot them, there is one thing of which we can now be certain-

The stakes are going higher in the hate game.
