On The Internet, No One Knows You’re Dead

Houston, this is getting to be a problem: first there was the story of the woman found dead in her home, after 18 months of no one noticing. And then there was the story of the woman who was murdered by a boyfriend who, after the murder, kept her virtually “alive” to the outside world by going online and updating her social media networks.

How second life alters first life, and not always for the better, is a pattern that keeps being recognized. Sixteen years ago the original New Yorker cartoon was funny. These new stories, not so much.

Interesting Read. I am starting a teaching called, “Technology Usurps the Soul”. It is all about the conditioning of the world to view their fellow human beings as an extension of the technology and no longer individuals removed from it. This article pretty accurately describes the problem. What seems to be such a blessing, i.e. “The Technological Age” is rapidly becoming the epitome of all that has been wrong with man’s attempt to be God. It is the recurrence of the rebuilding of the outer court where the articles were all made of brass, a man made alloy. It’s 666 in all 3 dimensions of the tabernacle.
