    Dr. Schachardt makes some valid, thought-provoking points, but I would take exception to his derision of people (the majority of people, apparently) who switch churches because of “musical worship style.” Musical style says a lot. I remember cringing at a wedding where the hymns all sounded like cheery, piped-in,’70s elevator drivel. To me, “Amazing Grace” conveys all you need to know about faith and rebirth and promise. That’s my musical style…and I guess my religious connection.
