Last Dash For College Football Regular Season and Post-Season Travel

2008 Penn State Nittany Lions football team

The college football season is coming to a close, but there are a lot of big match-ups around the country still left in the next few weeks. It’s also time to start thinking about bowl games, and with some teams already lined up for definite bids, you better start moving quickly if you want to get tickets, let alone airfare and accommodation.

Football fans can find tickets and packages customized for most teams at SportsTraveler, and there are a whole bunch of sites already selling (or claiming to sell) bowl game tickets. Best to check with your college’s athletic page first to see if they have some alumni deals that often times are better than the rest. CheapOair has a listing of deals, including cheap flights for the Penn State vs. Indiana game this weekend on November 21 and the USC vs. UCLA game during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend on November 28.

With holiday travel being as expensive as it is, how many of you have the time and money (or at least the interest) to spring for an extra trip in the next six weeks?

I hadn’t heard of SportsTraveler; will have to go check them out to see what games they still have tickets for. Thanks for the info.
