About Me
I'm a tech blogger, though that title annoys me. For the past few years, I'd been writing for Boy Genius Report, but I am now at MobileCrunch. You can follow my True/Slant page on Twitter @Digitalia, or if you're interested in what I snack on or when I take cigarette breaks, follow my personal Twitter account @mdflores.
Professional
I'm Known For...
Being a trouble-maker.
My Current Project
Writing. A lot.
My Greatest Achievement
Getting out of prison. Just kidding.
My Biggest Regret
Being late to the party.
I Truly Respect
Older people (50+). They just seem to know without having to think.
Moments I'd Like To Forget
I want to remember everything vividly.
How I Pay For This Wardrobe
Writing and annoying readers. On weekends, I breakdance on a sheet of linoleum on the street and take donations.
Blocks I've Been Around
Is this implying that I'm promiscuous?!
Things That Really Happened
A 90-year-old lady almost killed me. I never met her and have no idea what she looks like. If another human should ever take my life, I'd like to see his or her face first. Thanks.
Where I'd Like To Be 10 Years From Now
Centre Court at Wimbledon. Playing. Will I be too old for that then?
Why True/Slant
The concept seems relatively new and blends a lot of things I like about the web.

I'm Running From...
The old me.
This Is Helping Me Create...
A new perpsective.
This Is Making Me Think - Hard...
Chess. Or spirituality.

Computer, BlackBerry, books and music.
Favorite Voices
Um, the ones in my head? Or the singing voices of Freddie Mercury, Stevie Wonder, Peter Cetera, Colbie Caillat, Sarah Brightman, Andrea Bocelli, Jann Arden and Ronnie Dunn? Maybe the voices of Bertrand Russel, Steven Pinker, Christopher Hitchens and Carl Sagan?
My Most Awkward Moment
These are rare. The first that comes to mind is from years ago when a professor recognized me in a restaurant while I was on a date. She (professor) came and greeted me and asked, "Oh, is this your girlfriend, or just a friend of yours?" I said, "She's just a friend." My friend blurted out, at the same time, "I'm his girlfriend."
Oops.
My Secret Ambition
To write a novel.
