About Me

Ken Ramsley is a visiting investigator at Brown University where he advises and lectures on topics related to advanced spacecraft design and orbital mechanics. Prior to this, Ken was Chief Engineer for electronics, software, and navigational camera development at AeroAstro, Inc., a maker of earth orbiting satellites. As an aerospace engineer Ken designs computer electronics, power systems, radios, and optical hardware, with four space satellites launched to date, and a fifth spacecraft scheduled for launch in October, 2009. In his spare time, Ken creates 3D interactive video games, polishes custom designed telescope mirrors, exhibits photography, and writes vintage baseball and futuristic fiction.
