About Me
I've worked in the consumer finance world since graduating from the University of Portland in 1996 with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies (a more general degree, mixing marketing/advertising, social psychology and communications).
I'm just a normal, single male living in small-town America on the West Coast. Socially liberal and fiscally conservative (on a personal level, probably more moderate on a national level).
As a general rule of thumb, I don't vote for those that I am supposed to vote for. I vote for those whom I think will do the best job for this Country, given the circumstances.
I was once told I was Un-American, because I lean to the left and was born and raised in a big city. I just wanted to thank Sarah Palin for reminding me that my parents did a great thing by helping me to gain a great Education.

This idea that Middle America are all a bunch of idiots, and will believe anything put in front of us. Basically, everything Sarah Palin says.

My Greatest Achievement
Tough call, I've had a few really good achievements in my life.
I guess the greatest would be saving enough money, and making the right real estate moves, to allow me to take off from work from July '06 until Sept '09 and travel around the world.
With the economy tanking right at the same time, it wasn't an easy decision, but I did it and I believe I'm a better person for doing it.

Why True/Slant
I enjoy reading people's opinions on various things going on in our country, and in our world.
Life would be boring if all our opinions were the same.
Everyday I come on and read for a bit, and I learn something new. There is no price I can put on that alone.
