Pentagon gunman another right-wing terrorist

Anyone notice how many of the people who go on shooting rampages in the US just happen to be affiliated with extreme right-wing causes? The Pentagon gunman was only the latest. TPM reports that the man (I’m not going to help fulfill any drive for fame these people may have had by naming them)

was a property rights extremist who railed against the government’s ability to “confiscate the resources of their citizens to fund schemes that need only be justified by lies and deception,” and wanted to “eliminate the role of the government in education.”

This according to an online post (which I won’t link to) the man made in 2006.

Anomaly? Hardly. In 1995, a right-wing former Army private slaughtered 15 people in a day care center because he was pissed off about the FBI’s raids on Second-Amendment absolutists in Idaho and Texas. He was going for the FBI’s local office, but the stupid (he was arrested for driving a car with no license plate), callous baby-killer failed to account for the hundreds of other people in the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City at the time he blew up a truck outside of it.

Want more?  The Olympic Park bomber is an anti-abortion crusader who calls the NAACP, which ended de jure desegregation in this country in its argument before the Supreme Court in Brown vs. Topeka Board of Education, racist. This because it favors affirmative action to redress 336 years of slavery, government-backed ghettoization, and disenfranchisement.

Another: The man who killed a doctor last year because he was providing to women a medical service that is legal in the United States.

Another: The cop-killer in Pittsburgh last year hated blacks, and gun control.

One more: The guy who killed five women in a dance class in Pennsylvania ranted about inter-racial relationships.

Does anyone have any examples of a liberal or a Democrat who has targeted certain people for murder out of of political motives?

    Mr. Tullis,

You are not suggesting racial profiling of young, angry, politically conservative white men are you?

    Uhhhh dude.

This guy was a registered democrat. Get your facts straight next time.

Bette luck next time with your hate mongering.

The gunman was a rabid Liberal that spent too much time at Berkley, and smoked too much weed.

“Patrick Bedell was perpetually in and out of school, enrolling in undergraduate or graduate programs and sometimes auditing courses. In 1999, the brothers lived together in Berkeley, when Jeffrey Bedell was a senior on his way to law school and Patrick Bedell was auditing a physics course. “It was fantastic. … We would go to the café, and I’d be studying, he’d be studying. … It was wonderful,” Jeffrey Bedell said.”

“But Patrick Bedell’s curiosity and skepticism changed to an off-putting perspective laden with conspiracy theories. He smoked marijuana frequently.”

First of all, I’ve yet to see a credible source verify that he was a Democrat. I’m not denying that he may have been, but I’m not necessarily buying it at this point, either. Second, regardless of what box he checked on a voter registration form, the views expressed in the online rant TPM links to are undoubtably right-wing. Third, since when does living in Berkeley and smoking pot make you a liberal? I actually went to Berkeley–you seem to have difficulty with its spelling–and lived with a pot-smoking conservative for three years. Fourth, you dare accuse me of hate-mongering because I point out the political viewpoints of murderers? Fifth, what’s your explanation for the other examples I cite? I suppose the OK City bomber worked for the Obama campaign?
