		<description>What this tells me is that even the venerated New York Times is feeling the heat from the popularity of sardonic writers on the net and trying to keep up. I&#039;d rather they not try, because if that&#039;s true then they&#039;re in the wrong race.</description>

The blogosphere, and many other places, are already soaked with smart-ass ironic and detached amusement. Who needs more of it?
