Hardee’s Stays Classy With A-Hole Ad
Following shortly on the heels of the Next Big Burger Skank competition, Hardee’s continues the trend of fast food joints getting pretty sexual and slyly explicit with their advertising. Hardee’s is promoting their new Munchkin-clone product that they’re calling Biscuit Holes. To do so, they offered up a blind taste test versus Munchkins, labeling Munchkins “A” and the Biscuit Holes “B” to “find out what type of holes people prefer. See where this is going? No? Ok, fine …
Essentially, as you can probably guess, people prefer the “B-Hole” and make disparaging remarks about the “A-Hole” (Special props/demerit points to whoever wrote “The A-hole just tastes funny.”). If you’ve never seen ‘Idiocracy’ … please rent it, because this is proof we’re headed in that direction.
