A four percent increase in the defense budget, the prospect of a "pullout" in Iraq that leaves 50,000 U.S. troops and an escalation in Afghanistan should not be mollifying the mainstream anti-war majority in the U.S. So it's unfortunate that the only people complaining about this are the far-left fringe.
