The newest freak at ‘General Hospital’

You’ve got two choices in deciding what to think about mega-”Spiderman”-movie star James Franco’s appearing on “General Hospital” starting Nov. 20. Either:

  1. It’s brilliant stunt casting for November sweeps and Franco’s probably enjoying the lark; or
  2. Franco must have lost a bet

And while I’m fully confident that Franco will bring nothing but the appropriate level of talent and craft to whatever role he’s currently taping (the “GH” producers aren’t letting on yet), I can’t help but wish that the newest citizen to hit Port Charles was Daniel Desario instead:
