Calderon Blames MJ’s Death on Drugs, Calls Non-Believers Likely to Become Addicts

Though the autopsy results aren’t in, President Calderon went ahead and deduced that “excessive” drug use caused Michael Jackson’s death. He may be right, but it looks like he just couldn’t resist the opportunity to lament the pop star’s alleged overdose on the very day the United Nations is celebrating International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
A few breaths later he also bemoaned that kids today don’t believe in God and their lack of faith essentially makes them addicts-in-waiting, nevermind the Ted Haggards of the world. All this religious flame-throwing and anti-drug fervor really doesn’t help Catholics or drug addicts or Mexico or even you, Mr. Calderon.
