Clothing To Wear In Honor of #MileyDay

Some fairly extensive Twitter perusal hasn’t actually fully confirmed my fear that the now-trending #MileyDay Twitter tag is actually an homage to Miley Cyrus. But I’ve never been one to let the truth get in the way of a good verbal assault story, so let’s talk about Miley Day in terms that we can all appreciate: clothing. Below you’ll find a list of clothing options for a day like today and, hopefully, the nature of the list will make you understand why #MileyDay is such a hideous idea.

  1. Half shirts- Having apparently given up entirely on the attempt to seem innocent, Cyrus is an avid lover both of half shirts and real shirts finagled in such a way that they resemble half shirts.
  2. Rhinestones- Because why wear something good looking when you can cover it in sparkly stuff and look like a cowgirl hooker instead?!
  3. Enormous man as accessory- I shouldn’t have to explain why this is scary.
  4. Super slutty bras- We’re talking Fredricks of Hollywood, not La Perla here.
  5. Headbands that imply you think hippies still exist and you are one. You’re not.

“This dress is made by the woman making all my dresses. Her brand is called Uniform, and she has designed almost all the clothes I’ve been wearing throughout my stay in Oslo. The red colour of the dress is just my colour. I had a vision about four years ago with me standing on a big stage in a flowing red dress with lots of flags, and I’m staying true to that vision with this dress. ”This is a wonderful opinion. The things mentioned are unanimous and needs to be appreciated by everyone. I appreciate the concern which is been rose. The things need to be sorted out because it is about the individual but it can be with everyone.

    About Me

Lily Q lives and obsesses about clothes in New York's West Village, where a myriad of tempting stores and pretty dresses threaten to leave her living in a box much like a hobo. When not crying silently about how little time and how many shoes there are, Lily is writing about it.

You can also check her out on TheFrisky.com, The Local blog (Brooklyn version) at The New York Times and her own blog, Lily Q Talks Clothes. She could easily have written this bio in the first person but prefers that special variety of douchiness that comes with writing in the third person.
