Lady Gaga and Beyonce ‘Video Phone’ Video Is Straight Up Amazing

The ten million or so looks in the new video for Beyonce’s “Video Phone” are good enough to distract from the fact that she of the small leotards and massive ass spends five minutes singing about, well, video phones. It starts out looking like more of the same Sasha Fierce bull she’s been putting out for far too long, but quickly morphs into the best approximation of a fashion show via music video I’ve ever seen.

We get the now-classic Beyonce leotard action over and over, but we also get mind-blowingly great makeup and everything from a betrenched B to Beyonce gone Katy Perry and just enough Lady Gaga with a gun to terrify all of mankind forever. It’s the best Beyonce has has looked in years and, for once, the sight of Lady Gaga doesn’t make me simultaneously excited and fearful. (Just excited.) Quick cuts and mad makeup do wonders for a girl.
