Mexico City to legalize gay marriage

Mexico City

Image via Wikipedia

News reports are out that Mexico City, a city of more than 8 million people, has approved a bill that will allow same-sex couples to marry and adopt children.

It’s astonishing that a city of this size in a country that is still very much under the influence of the Catholic Church has beat many states — including California — in the race to grant gay couples equal rights.

According to the AP, the new definition of marriage will be “the free uniting of two people.”

There are a lot of people celebrating right now.

God has something better than “gay” marriage and adoption. God wants marriages where two people raise children created by both of them. That gives relatives on both sides that can fully rejoice in this union. That is why he is against divorce and adultery too. They destabilize the community. They can still have close pure relationships with same gender, only no sex.

So great is His anger against those that reject His commandments and wisdom that He pronounces severe consequences so people will avoid their own wisdom and choose God’s. Mexico City has a volcano in the area that could do a lot of damage. Leviticus 26 is God’s promise of terror and 4 x 7 curses UNTIL we turn to follow Him in truth. Pray for repentance.
