Oh this is just too much. Adam C. Smith at the St. Petersburg Times picks up a news report from a local Florida online news outlet that a State Senator, Mike Bennett, got caught viewing some porn that was reportedly e-mailed to him by a woman he knows during a Florida state Senate debate:
Sunshine State News reports that it captured video of Sen. Mike Bennett, R-Bradenton, “looking at pornographic material on his state-issued computer on the Senate floor.”…

I’m not headlining this with the fact that Bennett is a Republican because he claimed that he “was just sitting there, bored as they were debating the abortion bill.”
I’m bored debating about abortion, too! Florida is in a middle of a massive economic crisis, and they’re finding new ways to restrict abortion? Like that’s going to fix anything.
Let’s give three cheers to Mike Bennett, hero Republican Senator of Florida, for offering us all a way to get through the mindless kulturkampf that our country can’t just grow up and get over.
