Mike Tyson Arrested

Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson and a photographer are being investigated for misdemeanor battery after an airport scuffle that injured the paparazzo, police said Thursday.

Tyson and Tony Echeverria, 50, made citizens’ arrests of each other after a confrontation at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Los Angeles International Airport, airport police Sgt. Jim Holcomb.

I never did like seeing Mike Tyson in “The Hangover.” The man has hurt his dignity and self much too frequently. I wish he’d just stay away … the farther from being the butt of jokes, the better.

And there will be more laughing, I’m sure, after this latest fiasco. I just hope it stays within reason, and respect, for this clearly hurting individual. Ex-boxing champs are rarely a pretty sight.
