Birther Alerter: 45% Of Arkansans Think Obama Born In US

And that means that 55% either don’t think he is or are unsure.

Ahh, the fun never stops.

Arkansas is the first of four states where we’ve polled the birther issue (Virginia, North Carolina, and Colorado were the others) and found less than half of respondents confident that the President is a natural born citizen. The numbers are particularly dramatic among Republicans with 49% saying Obama was not born here to just 23% who grant that he was.

Folks, what do you say this stuff? How can these numbers be THAT high? Do people really believe this nonsense or are they just upset that a Democrat is in the White House?

Those are the questions, and I’m looking for some answers.
