The only journalism school still worth going to
News Media, a Russian media company which owns such tabloids as “Your Day” and “Heat,” has decided to start its own (yellow) journalism school. For $800, students will learn how to write for tabloids and can even land an internship at that indomitable British daily, The Sun. It may not have proper accreditation and you won’t get a diploma at the end, but it may be the last journalism school still worth going to.

This is amazing. I’m glad True/Slant now has someone reporting on Russian news items. We need more news out of Russia. I think for at least a few weeks it would be really fun to come up with those awful headlines. Then it would get really, really depressing and you might hate yourself. And you certainly would not make too many new friends.
