Jeffrey Seglin writes "The Right Thing," a weekly column syndicated by The New York Times Syndicate since February 2004. From 1998 to 2004, he wrote a monthly ethics column of the same name for The Sunday New York Times business section. He is an associate professor at Emerson College in Boston where he teaches writing and ethics.
