Belgian humor magazine runs most offensive ads in history of mankind

Expect to see many panties get bunched up when these ads inevitably enter the cable news network dialogue. No surprise, but I think they’re brilliant.

That is hilarious. Waiting for someone to get all self-righteously pissed, and forward these around as proof that “damn Europeans can’t take anything seriously!!”

Bad but good. I’ll certainly remember it.

Made me think of some lyrics from One Week by Barenaked Ladies:

How can I help it if I think you’re funny when you’re mad
Trying hard not to smile though I feel bad
I’m the kind of guy who laughs at a funeral

[...] Im not sure what’s going on with people nowadays. Humo Magazine’s new ads which says “reading Humo can have serious consequences” can seem very offensive to people. I can appreciate the humor in jacking up MJs nose or finding Sadaam but the World Trade Center is definitely off limits..ALL THE TIME. Expect an uproar once the US media catch hold of this. About Me

I'm the former editor-in-chief of New York Press, senior editor of Forbes Traveler, associate editor of The Prague Pill (R.I.P.). Everything started with an angry little zine called Crank, 1994-2000. I founded 100 Words in 2001; it's still running strong at 100words.com with several million published words. I've spent a lot of time in a lot of places, including Prague, Bangkok and countless hotels of varying quality. One year, I slept in 120 different beds.

I've written for the New York Times, New York magazine, Forbes Insights, Radar, Good, Wired, the New York Post, The Guardian, Men's Journal, Penthouse, Maxim UK, Fortean Times and some others. I've sold an as yet unproduced screenplay to some folks in the U.K., and I've got another about to make the rounds.

Most of my work is at www.fineorsuperfine.com
