The 101 Days of Fox News Idiocracy Collection
Presented here is a collection of Fox News clips which, I believe, are enough to crown Fox News as the official broadcaster for the growing Idiocracy culture. Each entry to the collection is real and sourced, a majority of the events were found in my own back archives, along with some help from the archives of… TheDailyShow.com, Crooksandliars.com, MediaMatters.org, The Young Turks, Newshounds.us and thinkprogress.com.
The list has been divided into 7 sections after this introduction.
Day 1 to Day 16: Meet the Fox News Team
Day 17 to Day 27: Meet the Fox Guests
Day 28 to Day 44: Things Fox News Does
Day 45 to Day 63: What the Fuck Fox!
Day 64 to Day 75: The Obama Era
Day 76 to Day 87: Fox around the World
Day 88 to Day 101: Conclusion: Fox News Broadcaster to the Idiocracy
I was pretty stunned to learn that 25% of Americans polled believe all of what Fox News reports and apparently Fox News has a higher credibility rating than all the major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS). Opinion anchor Bill O’Reilly has even started getting more viewers than the CBS nightly news.
I wonder how Americans will react to such a list being presented by a Canadian, but look at this from my side for a moment. The first time Fox News was brought to my attention was during a cold December evening back in 2004, I caught this clip on the Internet.
Understand – this was 2004 and the Internet was a lot different back then. Where I found that clip, I also found this one of Bill O’Reilly calling for a boycott against Canada, my home and native land.
Ever since I started blogging in 2005 my blogs have always featured WTF Fox News moments, so I have built myself quite the extensive collection. I present that collection here as what I hope can be my last Fox News post. It can only be up to Americans to put an end to this historical low in journalism. Thank you for reading my introduction, and good luck making it through this insane list. Go get started – Day 1 to Day 16: Meet the Fox News Team
