The Ledger/Enquirer is reporting that the Army has told him he will not have to deploy. (http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/news/story/777472.html) The thing that really caught my eye in the story is that apparently, the guy had VOLUNTEERED for the deployment in May. So, in May, he was OK deploying under Obama's orders, but now he's not? Something's not smelling right here. Well, the guy’s ploy worked. Plus, this major is now setting a precedent for other soldiers. If he were PFC, this wouldn't be as big. Did he have similar considerations for international law when we first invaded Iraq?
