Libtree, you obviously need to go re-read your Machiavelli. A divided force is quickly united against an outside threat. If no such threat exists, an invented threat serves the purpose just as well.

First off what has Obama done to endanger the country? Getting out of Iraq when the democratically elected Government signed an agreement with Bush that called for our withdrawal? Or maybe the idea of putting terrorists in super max prisons, a prison that would make Gitmo look like a resort.

Secondly are they thankful to Osama for the first attack? Do they view the twin towers destruction as a public service? Opening the way for a military Motherland…sorry…Homeland? Do they think Americans are better served by suspension of habeas corpus, electronic spying (accidentally on journalists and politicians), torture, outing our CIA, two wars, one that will cost one trillion dollars and will do nothing to catch the guys who did attack us…no wait…Osama helped America, right, maybe that’s why we let him get away at Tora Bora…we may need him again. Is this their vision of America?

Listening to this I thought I could hear the theme to the Twilight Zone and hoped Rod Serling would explain it all.
