Minuteman group arrested for murdering family

A group of Minutemen took some time off from patriotically patrolling the border to conduct their own drug raid in Arivaca, Arizona. During the “unofficial raid” (where they apparently planned on stealing the victims money and drugs,) they decided the best option was to kill all suspects, including an 8 year-old girl. The mother survived her planned execution and was able to call the police.

Jason Eugene Bush, 38, Shawna Forde, 42 and Albert Robert Gaxiola, 43, were all taken into custody and charged in connection with the murders of 29-year-old Raul Flores and 8-year-old Brisenia Flores. Both were killed during an alleged home invasion.

According to authorities, Bush, Forde, and Gaxiola broke into the home of the Flores family just after midnight on May 30th. At the time, the mother, father and daughter were home. The invaders reportedly shot the three members of the Flores family, killing the father, Raul, and the daughter, Brisenia. The invaders then left the scene.

The mother survived the shooting, called police, and found a gun. Sheriff Dupnik says the three returned moments later to make sure everyone was dead. At that point, the mother shot and injured Bush, and the three fled the scene.

The trio has been charged with two counts of First Degree Murder, one count of First Degree Burglary, and one count of Aggravated Assault. More

The ringleader behind the murders was Shawna Forde, head of “MAD” or “Minuteman American Defense” you can read all about her by visiting online profile, here.

    Holy shit!
This is why Minutemen is a bad idea, and why the “milita” interpretation of the 2nd can be troublesome.

Is anyone surprised that they ran as soon as anyone gave them resistance? Bullies, all grown up, with guns.

@iskid2astop “This is why Minutemen is a bad idea, and why the “milita” interpretation of the 2nd can be troublesome.”

What’s the excuse when soldiers or local constabulary go rogue and kill civilians or even torture prisoners? Is the military a bad idea? Are policemen a troublesome notion?

The fact is, you have idiots on all levels and bad apples all around. If 3 bad apples is all it takes to shut down an organization, then every police force in America should be disbanded.

True, there are bad apples in every tree, but only a few trees aren’t checked for those bad apples.
The examples you used have some accountability system, and are overseen by an outside entity. The only rules for these guys are “Don’t break the law”, without any other kind of code, or ethic system. They are trying to have their citizen cake and eat their law enforcement cake too. One or the other, please!
If illegal immigration, and the border was a national emergency, which I suppose they see it as, then just anybody doing enforcement is acceptable, in theory, but hardly anyone sees it as an emergency.

    About Me

I was born and raised in Peterborough Ontario, from there I've moved to London, Banff, Victoria and finally Qualicum Beach - I am confident I have found the best place in Canada to settle. I don't consider myself a writer, I only play one on the Internet - I started blogging years ago for my now-defunct website ThrowawayyourTV.com - Since then I've blogged for AOL and worked as a manager/trainer at Mahalo.com assisting writers in learning the ropes of Internet Research and web-writing. Away from the computer I work as a pay-on-call Firefighter here in town.
