Michigan’s Finest
I personally don’t understand the idea of using a Taser device on humans, let alone animals, let alone stuffed animals. Well, that’s what happened one day in Warren Michigan a 911 caller reported spotting a panther and apparently the logical response is using a Taser. Luckily Detroit’s Natalie Sentz was on the scene to file this report.

I realize a panther loose is a rare situation and perhaps the officers didn’t have much of an idea how to deal, but for the fun let’s think of different ways this could have played prior to the embarrassing Tasing.
- Call animal control.
- Put a net on either side of the pipe.
- Use a flashlight, to see if the panther is alive.
- Hug it, and give it to a little girl
I am not familiar, but does Taser supply a guide to law enforcement agencies with the recommended amount of volts required to take down each animal? I am currently trying to find out exactly what the result would be if cops actually Tased a full grown panther.
