George W. Bush speaks at High School

Last week we heard all about the Barack Obama and Dick Cheney “dueling speeches,” well there was another speech going on that got far less media attention and that was George W. Bush’s speech at Artesia High School.

Here at the Idiocracy Index we believe George W. Bush was the President during the Golden Age of Idiocracy, our hope is that the Idiocracy movement is on the decline. So having George in the news again makes us very happy. Can’t think of a better way to find George W. Bush than having him talk to a group of High School seniors, where of course he had to share the story about how he realized he was a real person after following his dog around and picking up after him. Oh the Irony. You can watch the Bush Speech on YouTube.

You can watch Bill Maher mock the speech here.

I liked Bill Maher’s early, funny stuff. He’s really gone off the boil if that’s meant to be him on form these days, and my that sounds like canned laughter even if it’s not. I’m not in any way, shape or form a fan of GW Bush, but I am a fan of good comedy, and that ain’t it.

    About Me

I was born and raised in Peterborough Ontario, from there I've moved to London, Banff, Victoria and finally Qualicum Beach - I am confident I have found the best place in Canada to settle. I don't consider myself a writer, I only play one on the Internet - I started blogging years ago for my now-defunct website ThrowawayyourTV.com - Since then I've blogged for AOL and worked as a manager/trainer at Mahalo.com assisting writers in learning the ropes of Internet Research and web-writing. Away from the computer I work as a pay-on-call Firefighter here in town.
