A cheesehead in Phoenix: Unpacked at the playoffs
What’d you do today? That’s nice. I went to the highest-scoring playoff game in NFL history. Even though the Packers lost, it was neat.
Last night there was a rally for Green Bay fans at a bar in Scottsdale. Apparently the way to show up at that sort of thing is in a Packer-themed vehicle like this RV…

…or this truck.

I never actually made it into the rally; it was so crowded they had to shut the doors.
Then it was today. You will not be surprised to learn that there was tailgating. This nice lady was giving brats to Packer fans.
Ben is not the sort of person to say no to a free brat.

The game itself was initially depressing and then unbelievably exciting. Maybe I’ll have more to say about it later. For now, I think this picture says just about everything about what it felt like to lose this one just when it was looking like we’d pulled off a miracle.
