New Video: Did Pat Robertson Make A Pact With The Devil?

patrobertsonevilIt’s unbelievable the comments TV evangelist Pat Robertson made about the devastating earthquake in Haiti. A day after the tragedy struck, Robertson declared Haiti was “cursed” because they made a pact with the devil.

One can only conclude that somehow Pat Robertson is not the holy man he tries to appear to be. One can conclude that asinine comments like this prove that Pat Robertson has made a pact with the devil!

Pray for Pat Robertson! Watch the video and decide……

I often wonder whether christian evangelists, like Pat Robertson, actually have any concept of Christ’s teachings. Do they comprehend the meanings of words such as compassion, brotherhood, charity, and forgiveness or are they simply sociopath’s that use religion as a means to their own unjustifiable ends.

Why couldn’t Pat Robertson take the high road on this one? Instead of blaming the Haitiians for their own suffering simply say that God in his infinite wisdom and mercy, after seeing these people suffer for years in what could be considered “hell on earth” decided it was time to relieve them of their suffering. For those left behind, he’s counting on us that truely believe in compassion and charity to help Haiti and it’s people rise from the ashes and become new again.

Yeah, it’s sad. And I’ve seen this kind of so-called “superior” mentality many a time. It’s almost like being a conspiracy theory nut: you want to explain the horrors of the world with an easy, mythical explanation. I’ve seen the same mentality of Pat Robertson when I covered the Westboro Baptist Church, who explains all he horrors in the world are due to the acceptance of gays. These type of Christians give the compassionate, caring Christians a bad name.
