Mash Up: Sarah Palin Book Signing/Heavy Metal Parking Lot

A few days ago we talked about the similarities between the people you find at your average Sarah Palin book tour signing and those who were in the film cult classic Heavy Metal Parking Lot. 

If you mash the footage from the two together, you’ll find that Sarah Palin fans and Judas Priest fans have a lot in common–the joy of Americana  moronic. Yes, we pit Tea Party Patriots against heavy metal fans to see who is smarter. 

True/Slant asks, is this video more insulting to Sarah Palin supporters or heavy metal fans? Which?
